Job Description

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support full accounting and operational finance functions within their logistics environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare monthly management accounts and schedules.
Reconcile general ledger and month-end journals.
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
Assist with annual financial statements and audits.
Assist with fleet costing, fuel analysis, and route profitability.
Support operations with cost and margin analysis.
Monitor fuel cards, trip sheets, tolls, and fleet expenses.
Process supplier invoices and payments.
Oversee customer invoicing and credit control.
Maintain supplier and customer master data.
Prepare VAT and assist with EMP201.
Support SARS compliance and queries.
Assist with cash forecasts and payment preparation.
Monitor bank reconciliations and petty cash.
