Job Description

Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Audit Senior to lead audit engagements, supervise junior staff, and ensure work is completed in line with professional audit standards.

  • Location: Houghton, Johannesburg
  • Salary: R35 000 – R40 000 CTC

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and finalise audit assignments.
  • Lead and supervise audit teams on-site and remotely.
  • Identify risks, resolve issues, and communicate findings.
  • Review working papers and financial statements.
  • Liaise with clients to obtain evidence and resolve queries.
  • Present audit findings and reports to clients and management.
  • Prepare management letters and control improvement recommendations.
  • Ensure audits are delivered within deadlines and budgets.
  • Stay updated on auditing and accounting standards.

Requirements

  • Recognised professional accounting qualification.
  • 2–4 years’ experience as an external auditor.
  • Experience supervising or managing audit teams.
  • Proficient in audit software and Microsoft Office.
